Overview
This busy Original Equipment Manufacturer is looking to add a proven Electrical Designer to support their growing operation. Working closely with an established team of Project Managers and Engineers, there will be opportunities to contribute to a wide range of projects. The Electrical Designer will design complete electrical systems from scratch and troubleshoot as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design complete electrical systems from scratch for a variety of projects
- Produce electrical schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- Specify components and create bills of materials
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver on project goals
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and contribute problem-solving skills
- Travel abroad as required
Qualifications / Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience designing complete electrical systems from scratch
- Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical
- Ability to produce electrical schematics and shop drawings, specify components, and create bills of materials
- Programming experience with PLC and HMI is a plus
- Understanding of motors, drives, or hydraulics is desirable
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad as needed
