Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Markham Stouffville Hospital is currently looking for enthusiastic and skilled Emergency Physicians. Commitments of varying degrees can be discussed. Our collegial environment consists of highly motivated and skilled emergency physicians, subspecialty consultants, nurses, allied health care teams and support services. This community Emergency Department is high volume, with over 100,000 visits annually and has a commitment to providing ongoing quality Continuing Medical Education. Remuneration is based on an AFA.

Qualifications/Experience

• An independent license or eligibility for an independent license/practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Certification in Emergency Medicine from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, The College of Family Physicians of Canada or equivalent.
