<br><br>←Back to all jobs at Appleby College<br><br><h2>Enrichment Teacher, Summer Programs 2026</h2><ul><li><br></li><li><br></li><li><br></li><br><br><p><b>Enrichment Teacher, Summer Programs</b><br><br><b>Compensation:</b> Starts at<br>$1250/Week </p><p>The purpose of<br>an Enrichment Instructor, Summer Enrichment Programs is to teach a one-week<br>enrichment course in the Summer Enrichment Programs, engaging students in the<br>summer learning environment and delivering Appleby College curriculum. Appleby<br>Teachers are expected to have a high level of expertise in their teaching<br>discipline and are effective, stimulating, and competent facilitators of the<br>educational process.</p><p>Designed<br>for students aged 12 to 17, our small and dynamic class sizes ensure a<br>personalized learning experience that meets the needs of each learner. Junior<br>Enrichment programs accommodate ages 12 to 14, focusing predominately on Grade<br>8 curriculum, as well as incorporating scheduled active time to address the<br>learning needs of our youngest students. Our<br>Senior Enrichment programs accommodate ages 15 to 17, focusing predominately on<br>Grade 11 curriculum content and are more academically focused than the Junior<br>programs. Both age ranges include fun and dynamic activities to engage and<br>connect with students on each specific subject matter.</p><p>All<br>Enrichment programs run on-campus, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., unless<br>otherwise specified. Additional compensation will be provided.</li><p><b>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</b></p><li>Post-Secondary<br> Education at the University level in progress or complete</li><li>Teacher<br> education training (B.Ed., M.Ed.) an asset</li><li>Previous<br> teaching experience in the subject area is considered an asset</li><li>Teachers<br> will possess appropriate credentials illustrating a high level of<br> knowledge and expertise in their teaching discipline</li><li>Are<br> exceptional in verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Possess<br> exquisite time management and organizational skills</li><li>Can<br> demonstrate effective problem-solving skills</li><li>Are able to<br> adapt to changing needs and circumstances</li><li>Technical<br> aptitude</li><p><b>WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><li>As a<br> condition of employment, if over 18 yrs. a criminal record check with a<br> vulnerable sector screening is required </li><li>Valid<br> Standard First Aid and CPR is required</li><li>All selected<br> candidates will be required to attend a training session on Saturday May 31,<br> </li><li>Location:<br> Appleby College, 540 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, Ontario</li><li>The contract<br> length and workday vary, depending on the course</li><p><b>WORK<br>SCHEDULE</b><b></b></p><p>· <br>Training & Orientation</p><p>o <br>Saturday May 30, 2026</p><p>· <br>Program Session Dates & Hours</p><p>o <br>As assigned, excluding holidays</p><p>o <br>Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm</p><p><b>HOW TO APPLY </b></p><p>If<br>you or someone you know wants to learn and grow this summer, please apply<br>online.
