<p><p>Our client, a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Project Manager to join the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in either their Halifax (Dartmouth) office. This is a permanent, full-time position, paying a salary commensurate with experience, along with profit sharing, RRSP matching, and a competitive vacation and benefits package.</p><h3>Department Overview</h3>
<p>Our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation (EDDR) team helps clients navigate environmental risks and regulatory requirements with confidence. We specialize in assessing, managing, and remediating environmental concerns to protect property value, ensure compliance, and support sustainable development.</p>
<h3>Your Impact</h3>
<ul>
<li>Managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and other environmental projects (i.e., monitoring, remediation); ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.</li>
<li>Performing Project Management duties both locally and with assistance of staff in other regions to manage national portfolios.</li>
<li>Assist project staff with the preparation and reviewing of technical reports and recommendations.</li>
<li>Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in initiatives with the Marketing department and develop business development skills to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones.</li>
<li>Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff.</li>

<h3>What You’ll Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, project management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional environmental solutions. Proven track record and experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and an understanding of current environmental regulations and standards within Nova Scotia.</li>
<li>A bachelor’s degree in science (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred), bachelor’s degree in engineering or Applied Science or a diploma in environmental engineering technology.</li>
<li>A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is not required but is considered an asset.</li>
<li>5-7 years of experience within environmental consulting, at least 2-3 of which should be completing project management or project coordination duties.</li>
<li>Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management.</li>
<li>Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated).</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, writing skills and attention to detail</li>
