Job Description

Family Ministry and Social Media Director / Pastor

Our Family Ministry and Social Media Pastor / Director will:

  • Lead Next Gen Ministries (Kids and Youth)
  • Oversee curriculum, teacher, and assistant development
  • Coordinate Next Gen Sunday Services (Two to Four times a year)
  • Deliver abuse prevention policy and training (We have the resources)
  • Connect with Parents, Next Gen, and families
  • Coordinate and schedule social media team’s posts
  • Build your team – encourage, equip, and grow leaders and assistants
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and outreach events (Parents and Tots, clothing exchange, winter extravaganza, Easter egg Hunt, etc.)

Required Skills:

  • A heart for God, Kids, and Youth
  • A heart for guiding and mentoring team, upcoming leaders, and Next Gen
  • Encourage, equip, and send Next Gen into mission
  • Engaging and culturally responsive in a diverse context
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Planning Center, Church Center, Canva or equivalent, and Plan to Protect or equivalent

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in process or completed in Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, or Theology
  • Credentials with the PAOC, or willingness to work towards being credentialed with the PAOC
