<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Field Service Technician<br />Location:</strong> BC / Alberta<br /><strong>Full-Time | $43$45/hr + Benefits</strong><hr /><strong>About the Role</strong><br />Were looking for a skilled <strong>Field Service Technician</strong> to join our client's Central Region service team. In this role, youll take on a mix of installation, maintenance, and repair work on <strong>bulk gas supply systems</strong>, <strong>small on-site plants</strong>, and <strong>food freezing equipment</strong>. Youll also support <strong>piping installations</strong> and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.<p>This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work.</p><hr /><strong>What Youll Do</strong><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair gas distribution and cryogenic systems</li><li>Perform pipe fitting, welding, and brazing</li><li>Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics</li><li>Troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation</li><li>Coordinate contractors and oversee on-site work</li><li>Work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards</li></ul><hr /><strong>What You Bring</strong><ul><li>Journeyman or post-secondary education in <strong>Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding</strong>, or a related trade</li><li>35 years of experience with <strong>cryogenic or atmospheric gas systems</strong> (preferred)</li><li>Comfortable using <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> and completing technical reports</li><li>Available for <strong>after-hours calls</strong>, <strong>overtime</strong>, and <strong>travel up to 50%</strong> within BC and Alberta</li><li>Self-motivated and capable of working outdoors in all conditions</li><li>Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs</li><li>Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety</li></ul><hr /><strong>What They Offer</strong><ul><li><strong>Competitive pay:</strong> $43$45/hr, depending on experience and certifications</li><li><strong>Comprehensive benefits package</strong> including extended health, dental, and a health spending account</li><li><strong>RRSP program</strong> to help you plan for the future</li><li><strong>Take-home service truck</strong>, tablet/laptop, phone, and company credit card</li><li><strong>Variety and independence:</strong> Work on diverse projects and travel across BC and Alberta</li></ul><hr /><p>If you take pride in quality work, enjoy working with your hands, and want a role where every day brings something different, wed like to hear from you.</p><p><strong>Apply today</strong> to join a team that values skill, reliability, and craftsmanship.</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
