Partnering closely with the Controller, you&#39;ll help ensure that our accounting processes are not just efficient, but exceptional. From payables and receivables to reconciliations and reporting, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Take charge of <strong>accounts payable and receivable</strong>, ensuring timely and accurate processing</li><li>Assist in daily <strong>bank reconciliations</strong>, manage floor plan statements, and support inventory tracking</li><li><strong>Monitor daily cash flow</strong>, including deposits, charge accounts, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash</li><li>Handle <strong>invoice distribution</strong>, cheque preparation, and payment follow-ups</li><li>Play a key role in <strong>month-end and year-end closing</strong> activities</li><li>Help maintain and reconcile financial schedules to keep accounts healthy and audit-ready</li><li>Post vehicle inventory transactions, dealer trades, aftermarket sales, and more</li><li>Support <strong>audit and compliance processes</strong>, including RICS and internal reviews</li><li>Conduct <strong>financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting</strong> to support strategic decisions</li><li>Continuously improve processes and offer new ideas to enhance financial operations</li></ul><strong>What You Bring to the Table:</strong><ul><li>A <strong>degree or diploma</strong> in Accounting</li><li>Hands-on <strong>accounting experience in the automotive or dealership sector</strong></li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>GAAP and accounting best practices</strong></li><li>Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), along with solid skills in other office tools</li><li>Excellent <strong>attention to detail</strong>, organizational skills, and time management</li><li>A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working as part of a team and stepping up when needed</li><li>Integrity, reliability, and a drive to get things done</li><li>Strong communication skills and a professional approach to sensitive information</li><li>A mindset for <strong>continuous improvement</strong> and the confidence to challenge the status quo</li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Why You’ll Love It Here:</strong></p><p>You won’t just be crunching numbers, you’ll be helping build the backbone of a high-performing team.
