Our client is a multinational financial services firm company with offices based in Dublin. They have a requirement for a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This position is responsible for financial and regulatory reporting within a well-established finance team. The role also involves managing relationships with external auditors and internal finance counterparts, ensuring compliance with new reporting standards, and leading financial development projects.

Main Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports, and consolidated financial statements.
Oversight of financial controls and reporting systems.
Managing external auditor relationships and regulatory compliance.
Assessing and implementing new financial reporting standards.
Leading finance-related projects and process improvements.
Providing financial updates to senior leadership and audit committees.
Ensuring a strong control environment across finance teams.

Requirements:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
Strong background in financial accounting, group reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Experience implementing new reporting standards would be a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
Experience in managing teams and working in a regulated environment.
