Work setting Construction Various locations Renovation Willing to relocate Commercial Residential Level of expertise Maintenance and repair Responsibilities Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience Hand tools Additional information Transportation/travel information Willing to travel Willing to travel regularly Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Personal suitability Accurate Judgement Reliability Team player Values and ethics Punctuality Who can apply for this job?.
