<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>About Company:</strong></p><p></p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ol><li>Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and state customer orders using RF scanners.</li><li>Receiving & Sorting: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips and report and discrepancies or damages.</li><li>Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts and ensure items are stored in their designated "home" locations.</li><li>Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual/electric pallet jacks. (Forklift/Reach truck operation if certified).</li><li>Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all Ontario Occupational and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, including the use of required PPE (Steel-toe boots, high-vis vest, Hard hat).</li><li>Facility Upkeep: Mantain a clean and organized workspace to prevent "slips, trips, and falls" as per Ministry of Labour guidelines.</li></ol><p>Requirements and Qualifications:</p><ol><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) repeatedly. </li><li>Tech Savvy: Comfortable using handheld scanners, tablets, or warehouse software. </li><li>Compliance: WHMIS certification (often provided during onboarding).</li><li>Language: Proficient in English (written and verbal) to follow safety signage and SOPs. </li><li>Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, or Order Picker) is a strong asset.</li></ol><p>Work Environment:</p><ol><li>Fast-paced, high-volume distribution center.</li><li>Shift work may include mornings, afternoons, or "continental" night shifts. </li></ol><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>
