<p><h3>Summary</h3><p>Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Retail Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful day to day operation of a retail store department.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide supervision and leadership to the team members of the department, in partnership with the manager</li><li>Delegate tasks and work assignment to team members by giving clear and concise direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution</li><li>Foster the growth and development of team members by training various standard operating procedures and processes</li><li>Ensure team members follow all standard operating procedures and systems processes, following up to provide correction and guidance when needed, and reporting violations to the manager</li><li>Perform administrative tasks related to their assigned department</li><li>Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off this analysis</li><li>Promote company programs to team members and customers</li><li>Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed</li><li>Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope</li><li>Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment is preferred</li><li>Open availability – this position will be required to work store opening and closing shifts, as well as on weekends</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred</li><li>Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs</li><li>Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations</li><li>Ability to use good judgment and logic</li><li>Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle</li><li>Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset</li></ul><p>Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s welcomes applications from people with disabilities.</p><p>Accommodations are available upon request during the assessment and selection process.</p><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions!</li><li>Fun work environment</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Excellent benefits</li><li>Unlimited career advancement opportunities</li><li>Bass Pro Cares Fund</li></ul></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
