<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Design assembly fixtures; rubber press form blocks; welding jigs; check fixture, gauges, and any other tools used to support production activity</li><li>Develop and maintain a record of materials, detailed assembly & component drawings</li><li>Review designs and drawings from peers and provide feedback</li><li>Create 3D parametric CAD models of tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges using SolidWorks</li><li>Monitor and control tool development process from concept to release into production</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards</li><li>Communicate and coordinate internally and with our vendors</li><li>Capable of supporting multiple projects at different stages of maturity</li><li>Perform any other related project or task as required</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience in tooling design, preferably in an Aerospace industry</li><li>Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied sciences and or a Tech Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Must have experience in Solidworks parametric design including complex assemblies</li><li>Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems is considered a strong asset</li><li>Proficient in interpretation of drawings</li></ul><p><b>Conditions:</b></p><ul><li>Shift work will be required based on company requirements</li><li>Work to be performed in noisy and often warm production areas, including working with chemicals — all PPE is required at all times</li><li>Occasionally required to lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs</li><li>This position requires the ability to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time</li><li>Eyesight must be sufficient to be able to read fine print and blueprint details</li></ul><br /><strong>Salary Range: </strong><p>FTP- 75-90 for a perm hire, 79-90/hr if contractor<br><br>***Only qualified candidates who meet all of the requirements will be contacted for interviews.
