Our client, a global mining company located in the northwest part of Toronto, is on the hunt for a strategic and highly experienced Global Head of Supply Chain to join their senior leadership team.

This is a high-impact role for a senior supply chain professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments. With a mandate to lead and transform end-to-end supply chain operations, the successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and driving long-term value across the organization.

Global Head of Supply Chain Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies that support overall business goals for multiple international locations.
  • Lead procurement, logistics, inventory/asset management, and fulfillment functions
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to increase resilience and agility
  • Leverage analytics and forecasting tools to improve demand planning and inventory optimization
  • Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking, performance management, and corrective action
  • Champion cost reduction initiatives and lean process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards, and sustainability practices
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership

The successful candidate has:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Ability to travel internationally for up to 20 weeks annually.
  • Exposure to global supply chains and international logistics
  • 10+ years’ progressive experience in supply chain management with leadership accountability
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software
  • Strong financial and operational acumen with a track record of driving cost-efficiency
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced operational environment
  • APICS, CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent certification
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and sustainability frameworks

Compensation and benefits:

  • The discussed salary range is $200,000 – $220,000 per annum depending on experience
