<p>Unilever Prestige is scaling a <b>social-first, innovation-led</b> growth model. Our newly created <b>Central Marketing</b> team builds the capabilities, standards, and tools that help our Prestige brands move faster—from <b>spotting emerging trends</b> to <b>launching better products</b> and <b>raising creative effectiveness</b>. You’ll be the builder and connector who turns best practice into everyday practice across our Prestige companies.</p>
<h3>ROLE FOCUS</h3>
<p>Lead cross-brand <b>capability building</b> for <b>Innovation</b> and <b>Creative Excellence</b>. You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and embed new marketing capabilities (New Product Development, social listening, insight-to-action)</li>
<li>Partner with <b>CMI</b> to <b>track and improve innovation quality</b></li>
<li><b>Upskill portfolio’s marketers on creative excellence</b>: writing better briefs, judging creative, and deploying social‑first tools to be more relevant in culture</li>
<li>Influence brand/product marketing teams through <b>training modules, toolkits, and workshops</b></li>
</ul>
<h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<h3>Build & Scale Capabilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Design and deliver <b>training modules, certifications, and workshops</b> for product and brand marketers; measure capability lift and adoption</li>
<li>Design and roll out <b>playbooks, standards, and toolkits</b> for trend‑spotting, innovation funnel health, and creative excellence</li>
<li>Pilot new tools (such as creative evaluation frameworks, modular content systems) and codify <b>ways of working</b> for adoption across brands</li>
<li>Lead <b>always‑on social listening</b> to identify early signals and creator‑led trends; translate into <b>innovation territories</b> and creative inspiration</li>
</ul>
<h3>Innovation Quality</h3>
<ul>
<li>Partner with <b>CMI</b> to define and track <b>innovation quality metrics</b> (consumer problem clarity, proposition strength, mix readiness)</li>
<li>Coach teams on <b>insight‑to‑brief</b> and <b>brief‑to‑mix</b> excellence; ensure stage‑gate deliverables are decision‑ready</li>
</ul>
<h3>Quality of Creativity</h3>
<ul>
<li>Deploy <b>ECE (Enabling Creative Excellence)</b> principles: how to write <b>unmissable briefs</b>, judge creative ideas, and apply <b>effectiveness criteria</b></li>
<li>Introduce <b>social‑first codes</b> to make creativity work harder for conversion and brand power</li>
<li>Curate and share <b>latest learnings, tools, and benchmarks</b> from global creative effectiveness studies</li>
<li>Enable a repository of agency of records for Prestige</li>
</ul>
<h3>Governance & Performance</h3>
<ul>
<li>Reports to Prestige Central Marketing Capabilities Lead.</li>
<li>Serve as a trusted <b>capability partner</b> to Portfolio CMO’s —advising on agency choices, creative storytelling, and test‑and‑learn approaches.</li>
<li>Establish KPIs for capability adoption and impact (innovation success rate, creative effectiveness scores, speed‑to‑market).</li>
<li>Publish dashboards and best‑practice playbacks</li>
</ul>
<h3>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN ROLE</h3>
<ul>
<li>Proven/ Established experience in global/central marketing, innovation, or marketing excellence roles within <b>beauty/personal care</b> or <b>CPG</b></li>
<li>Proven track record in <b>capability building</b>: toolkits, training, and adoption across multiple markets</li>
<li>Strong <b>New Product Development</b> knowledge and <b>creative development</b> experience (briefing, judging, content optimization)</li>
<li>Hands‑on with <b>social listening tools</b> and creative evaluation frameworks</li>
<li>Data‑literate and <b>CMI‑savvy</b>; comfortable with insight synthesis and effectiveness metrics</li>
<li>Excellent <b>facilitation and storytelling</b> skills; credible with senior stakeholders; high <b>autonomy and accountability</b></li>

<h3>Location</h3>
<p>In June 2020 we announced our plan to consolidate a number of Unilever’s offices across the South East of England into a new Unilever campus in Kingston‑upon‑Thames in or around early 2025. However, on the 08 August 2024 we announced to our existing staff our proposal to retain our central Head Office in London, 100 Victoria Embankment (“100VE”) until our lease expires in 2027. As a result of this new proposal, we will be consulting with our existing staff, and new joiners who join during this period of consultation at 100VE, on the proposal made in August 2024. During consultation we will clarify the future location of each team and function. This means your role will either be based in 100VE until 2027 or in Kingston‑Upon‑Thames from early 2025. As we are yet to commence consultation on the proposal you agree, until such a time when consultation has concluded, your normal place of work as set out in the enclosed Statement of Terms & Conditions will be 100VE. You agree that on the conclusion of the consultation your place of work will be 100VE or 100VE until early 2025 and then Kingston‑upon‑Thames (“the locations”) and you will be notified of which of the locations will be your place of work after that consultation ends.</p></p>
