<p>Office Admin Full Time Winnipeg, MB $55,000 CAD per year</p><p>Are you passionate about Health & Safety? Do you have experience with fleet and warehouse health and safety? Do you enjoy training and finding solutions to ongoing concerns in the Health & Safety industry? If so, this may be the position for you!</p><p>RS Group is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of our Health & Safety programs. This role supports office, warehouse, and fleet operations by ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering safety training, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Serve as the primary contact for all health & safety matters</li><li>Ensure compliance with provincial Occupational Health & Safety legislation and transportation regulations</li><li>Lead safety onboarding, orientations, and training for new and existing employees</li><li>Conduct workplace, vehicle, and operational inspections and hazard assessments</li><li>Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions</li><li>Support fleet safety initiatives, including driver evaluations and training</li><li>Maintain safety documentation, training records, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)</li><li>Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee activities and compliance reporting</li><li>Promote continuous improvement and safety awareness across the organization</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Experience in health & safety or fleet safety management preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of provincial OH&S legislation (Highway Traffic Act and NSC an asset)</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Comfortable working independently and collaboratively</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and adaptable to new systems</li></ul><h3>Working Conditions</h3><ul><li>In-office role with regular presence in operational environments (PPE required)</li><li>Occasional travel to meet with drivers and operational teams</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance)</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Physically able to work at varied heights, walking, climbing, crawling, bending or kneeling</li><li>Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures and weather conditions</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with the assistance of tools to lift/carry items</li></ul><p><b><strong>Full-time: </strong></b>40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in-office (under an averaging agreement), with flexibility for staggered start times as required</p><p><b><strong>Salary</strong></b>: $55,000 per year with consideration for experience and qualifications</p><p><b><strong>Company</strong></b>: RS Distribution Services Ltd.</p><p><b><strong>Address</strong></b>: 175 Plymouth Street, Winnipeg, MB</p><p><b><strong>We thank all who apply but only those considered for an interview will be contacted.
