You'll:</p><ul><li>Lead and promote a Client-Directed philosophy, ensuring every decision puts residents first</li><li>Oversee the electronic client documentation system and ensure quality standards are met</li><li>Build trusted partnerships with residents and families through open communication</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements</li><li>Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and service</li><li>Collaborate on assessments, care planning, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives</li><li>Manage human resources activities, policy implementation, and operational efficiency</li><li>Step in to support clinical staff as needed to maintain seamless care delivery</li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>A clinical background with relevant education and credentials (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health, or another regulated healthcare discipline)</li><li>Active registration and good standing with the appropriate Nova Scotia regulatory body</li><li>Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role</li><li>Proven ability to lead with empathy, integrity, and accountability</li><li>Strong understanding of supervision, healthcare operations, and best practices in care delivery</li><li>Knowledge of applicable regulations, collective agreements, and sector standards</li><li>A collaborative, innovative mindset and passion for continuous improvement</li></ul><p>About Us<br>Shannex is a family-owned organization with a vision of Better Living for every stage of life.
