<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care my mother. This role involves specialized care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience atleast 1 month as home support worker and possess a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Support Workers play a vital role in delivering personalized care, supporting daily activities, and fostering independence for those in need.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Administer medications following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate medication records</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting mental well-being</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary</li><li>Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment</li><li>Support patients with mobility challenges through proper lifting techniques and assistive devices</li><li>Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or case managers</li><li>Assist with medical procedures under supervision, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and caregiving best practices</li><li>Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized communication techniques</li><li>Document care provided accurately in compliance with organizational policies</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>1 month experience as support home worker for female senior is highly preferred</li><li>First Aide and CPR certificste and food safe training.</li><li>Ability to administer medications safely and understand medical terminology</li><li>Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities</li><li>Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely when required</li><li>Experience in meal preparation and basic cleaning duties is advantageous</li><li>Certification or training in caregiving or medical assistance is a plus but not mandatory</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team</li><li>Compassionate attitude focused on enhancing the quality of life for clients</li></ul><p>Join our team to provide compassionate support that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.
