Join our team and make a meaningful difference every day!</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br />We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role plays an important part in supporting the health and well-being of everyone in our home.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and hallways according to daily and weekly schedules</p></li><li><p>Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure infection prevention protocols are followed</p></li><li><p>Launder linens and personal items as needed</p></li><li><p>Safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with WHMIS guidelines</p></li><li><p>Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department</p></li><li><p>Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, and other support services</p></li><li><p>Treat all residents with respect, dignity, and compassion</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of infection control practices and cleaning procedures</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills and a positive attitude</p></li><li><p>Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods</p></li><li><p>Recent Vulnerable Sector Check required</p></li></ul><p>Part Time (5 shifts per two-week pay period)<br />07:00 - 15:00<br />Every other weekend is required<br />Holidays as scheduled</p></p></p>
