<p><h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>This well-regarded Defence Contractor is a preferred supplier in delivering construction and refurbishment works to defence projects across the country. They have been operating for several years and employ over 1000 people on a national scale.With an increasing portfolio of projects in the commercial space they are looking for a site based HSEQ Advisor to join them in the ACT!</p>
<h3>The Role</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure WHS processes are carried out effectively</li>
<li>Coordinate and manage safety related tasks</li>
<li>Ensure safety documentation is up to date</li>
<li>Conduct site inspections, pre-starts & toolbox meetings</li>
<li>Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are met</li>
<li>Carry out health and safety audits and work place inspections</li>
<li>Maintaining the companies IMS</li>
</ul>
<h3>Your requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety</li>
<li>3+ years of WHS experience in defence projects</li>
<li>Be able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels</li>
<li>Have a good understanding of current legislation, regulations & building codes</li>
<li>Be articulate, well presented and a clear communicator</li>
