<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Multimatic Inmet manufactures fully engineered, high quality components, assemblies and systems such as bumpers and chassis/body structural components for high volume vehicle manufacturers. Multimatic Inmet is seeking a highly organized and proactive <b>Human Resources Coordinator</b> to join our HR Team. Reporting into the Human Resources Manager, you will act as a key support for employees by providing strong employee relations, completing a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth processes, assisting with recruitment, on-boarding, maintaining records, and often serving as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise</li><li>Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for hourly employees. This includes posting and managing job advertisements, setting up and conducting interviews, and completion of reference checks</li><li>Assist filling vacancies utilizing temporary agencies as required</li><li>Conduct orientations and onboarding for new hires</li><li>Arrange training for new and existing employees, such as WHMIS, MOL, IT and a variety of safety-related training. Ensure training is tracked in appropriate database, and annual training plan is updated</li><li>Assist with tracking of Incident/Accident reports, and employee return to work as required</li><li>Regularly keep HR Manager informed of any issues or potential issues, and possible solutions</li><li>Update and revise job descriptions as required</li><li>Maintain and update employee information in HRIS system</li><li>Provide administrative support such as employment letters, disciplinary letters, etc.</li><li>Prepare materials for monthly Employee Communication Meetings</li><li>Assist with STD, LTD paperwork and monitoring of cases as required</li><li>Oversee employee benefit plan annual re-enrollment and employee questions</li><li>Ensure employee files are accurate, and items filed correctly, and confidential</li><li>Maintain and regularly update Employee Information Boards</li><li>Ensure all literature/information boards are up to date and continually stocked</li><li>Plan & Coordinate employee social activities/events</li><li>Member of JHSC and participate in monthly meetings, and workplace inspections</li><li>Works in compliance with quality and environmental standards</li><li>Perform other duties as required</li></ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role</li><li>Experience in an office/manufacturing or automotive environment preferred</li><li>Post-secondary education in HR an asset, but not mandatory</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize items</li><li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy is critical in this role</li><li>Ability to follow up on items</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Be able to interact and build relationships with employees at all levels</li><li>Employee relations experience and ability to resolve issues</li><li>Comfortable speaking to groups of employees</li><li>Must be able to establish credibility and handle confidential matters</li><li>Ability to work onsite every day</li><li>Experience with HRIS Systems, preferably WorkDay</li><li>Competent in computer software such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li></ul>
<p>This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $57,658.00 - $107,000.00</p>
