Human Resources Administrator – Expert (Data & Reporting Analyst)
Location: 20 King Street West, Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 days in-office)
About the Role
We’re seeking a highly analytical Human Resources Administrator (Expert level) to join a dynamic HR data and analytics team within a leading financial institution. In this role, you’ll support the delivery and enhancement of operational HR dashboards, automate reporting processes, and enable insight-driven decision-making for internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate operational reports and dashboards based on business needs
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and delivery using tools such as SQL and Tableau
- Administer and manage local data sources, relational databases, and reporting environments
- Write and maintain SQL queries and document procedures
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and regular dashboards to HR and business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues in existing reports or dashboards and provide production support
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality standards
- Contribute to the review of technical and business requirements for analytics projects
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in HR data analytics, reporting, or related fields
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; experience with VBA
- Strong SQL proficiency and understanding of relational database systems (e.g., Teradata, MySQL, Oracle)
- Data visualization experience using Tableau
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience working with a Vendor Management System (e.g., VNDLY, Beeline, Fieldglass)
Nice-to-Have
- Previous experience with Workday and Beeline reporting
- Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
- Knowledge of HR systems such as HRIS, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow
- Understanding of privacy regulations and best practices in handling employee data
- Exposure to data governance and HR compliance reporting
Team & Culture
You’ll be part of a collaborative and technically skilled team of HR data analysts and report designers, working alongside a dedicated manager and several peers to deliver strategic HR insights in a fast-paced environment.
