The company specializes in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services, with projects spanning maintenance, installation, and retrofit work across commercial and industrial environments.<br><br> This is a full-time position offering stability, training, and opportunities for advancement based on performance and experience.<br><br> The successful candidate will work in accordance with established Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems, adhering to all policies and procedures designed to prevent accidents and occupational diseases. Safety training will be provided on the first day of employment, and all employees are expected to integrate health, wellness, and safety into their daily routines.<br><br><strong>Qualifications & Experience – 313A JOURNEYMAN G1</strong><br><br><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong><br /><ul><li>Licensed <strong>313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic</strong></li><li><strong>Gas Fitter 1 (G1) Certification</strong> – Minimum 5 years’ experience as a G1</li><li><strong>ODP Certification</strong></li><li><strong>Working at Heights</strong> and <strong>WHMIS Certification</strong></li><li><strong>Valid Driver’s License</strong> – Must provide Driver’s Abstract and Background Check to the business</li><li><strong>Active Skilled Trades Member</strong> (Union registration with UA787 may be required upon hire)</li><li><strong>Minimum 5 years of experience</strong> as a 313A/G1 Journeyman</li></ul><strong>Technical Skills & Experience:</strong><ul><li>Preventive maintenance and demand service experience</li><li>Strong <strong>mechanical and electrical troubleshooting</strong> abilities</li><li>Ability to <strong>read wiring diagrams</strong> and perform advanced diagnostics</li><li>Experience with:<br /><ul><li>Boilers (mandatory)</li><li>Rooftop Units (RTU), Custom Air Handling Units (CAHU), Make-Up Air Units (MUA)</li><li>Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), VAV & VVT Systems</li><li>VRF Systems Installation and Service</li><li>Constant Room Units (CRU)</li><li>Water Source Heat Pumps</li></ul></li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office</strong> and electronic systems for creating material lists, work orders, and quotations</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>EPA regulations</strong> and preventive maintenance best practices</li></ul><strong>Core Competencies:</strong><ul><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently with strong time-management skills</li><li>Strong customer service focus and ability to explain repairs and recommendations clearly</li><li>Honest workmanship and attention to detail</li><li>Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects</li><li>Team player with a strong work ethic and professional attitude</li></ul><strong>Additional Information:</strong><ul><li>Participation in <strong>on-call rotation</strong> is required</li><li>Opportunities for <strong>career advancement</strong> based on performance</li><li>Must submit <strong>professional references</strong> with your application</li></ul><strong>Salary - Union 787 rate</strong><br><br>All applications will be reviewed by the consultant posting the job and NOT an ATS tracker.
