Reporting to the<br />HVAC Service Manager, you will be working with our contractors during installs, start-ups, and helping services run smoothly from day one. Youll provide expert support in the field and over the phone, troubleshoot technical issues, and get hands-on with industry-leading products.</p><p><br /></p><p>This role is not an on-call position - regular working hours are on-site between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.</p><p><br /></p><p>What You&#39;ll Be Doing</p><ul><li>Be the expert voice for customers on the ODell product lineup</li></ul><ul><li>Startup and commission new systems alongside contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely</li></ul><ul><li>Offer virtual or phone support to installers and technicians for assistance with wiring, piping, programming, and general troubleshooting</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with our Sales team to assist with product layout and integration across a wide range of products</li></ul><ul><li>Connect with our manufacturers to obtain technical information and support materials</li></ul><ul><li>Attend customer sites to provide hands-on support during installs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and additional responsibilities as required</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with processing warranty claims by working closely with contractors and our internal team to keep the process moving in a timely manner</li></ul><ul><li>Travel to manufacturer facilities for in-depth product training as required</li></ul><ul><li>Other responsibilities as assigned</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What You Are </p><ul><li>Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic and G1 Gas Technician</li></ul><ul><li>Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades</li></ul><ul><li>Hold a valid G-class drivers license in good standing and clean driver&#39;s abstract</li></ul><ul><li>Willing and able to travel within our service territories (territory dependent on location of hire)</li></ul><ul><li>Three to five (3-5) years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC service</li></ul><ul><li>A solid understanding of computers and Microsoft Office, including openness to learning computers and electronics are a large part of how we support modern HVAC systems</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills, both verbally and written</li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented and reliable, following through on deadlines and commitments to customers</li></ul><ul><li>Dependable, punctual, and ready to lend a hand to team members</li></ul><ul><li>Meet the physical requirements of the role, which include:</li></ul><ul><li>Lifting up to 50lbs</li></ul><ul><li>Climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights</li></ul><ul><li>Bending, pushing, pulling, and kneeling</li></ul><ul><li>Sitting for long periods of time while driving</li></ul><ul><li>Working in extreme temperatures (heat and cold)</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Accessibility Commitment </p><p>At ODell HVAC Group, were all about building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
