As a Hydronic Systems Technical Support Representative, you’ll provide technical guidance via phone and email while working closely with the sales team, manufacturers, and contractor network to ensure smooth project execution from quotation to commissioning and beyond. </p><p><br /></p><p>Interested?</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Apply online now. </strong></p><p><br /></p><p></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Wage: </strong>$70k - $90k + depending on experience</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Benefits Include: </strong></p><ul><li>Extended health benefits</li><li>RRSP matching</li><li>Scholarship fund</li><li>Positive work environment with all the tools, including a stand-up desk</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Experience & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Systems, or equivalent professional experience</li><li>Strong mechanical and technical aptitude</li><li>Solid understanding of hydronic systems, boiler operation, piping, controls, and thermal dynamics</li><li>Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings</li><li>Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English</li><li>Experience generating mechanical equipment quotations with consideration for lead times, supplier constraints, and inventory</li><li>Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills</li><li>Innovation mindset with the ability to propose system enhancements or alternative configurations when standard solutions don’t fit</li><li>A gas license or HVAC background would be an asset </li><li>Must have a drive to learn and be teachable, and curious</li><li>Must have the confidence to make decisions  </li><li>Good with technology and able to learn new systems and processes</li><li>A team player </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver sizing, selection, and system configuration recommendations for boiler, hydronic, and hot water systems</li><li>Produce submittal drawing packages, using a tiered complexity classification (Green / Yellow / Red) depending on system intricacy.</li><li>Work closely with sales and customer service to support quotations, lead times, inventory status, and expedited deliveries (especially for emergency “no heat” scenarios)</li><li>Monitor and manage RGA / IRMA returns, coordinate with manufacturers for heat exchanger evaluation, and communicate findings to customers</li><li>Coordinate start-up services and oversee field commissioning of commercial projects</li><li>Serve as an escalation technical authority when post-warranty customers or contractors encounter field issues</li><li>Support remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and guidance via phone, email, or field dispatching</li><li>Translate and adapt manufacturer technical bulletins, training materials, and product updates to the Canadian market</li><li>Stay current with factory training and industry certifications, ensuring your technical depth across control systems, hydronics, and compliance requirements  </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Located about a 45 minute drive from both Toronto and Niagara Falls, Burlington, ON is situated right in the centre of Ontario’s “Golden Horseshoe”.
