Key Responsibilities:

• WIAM – IAM Federation Engineer (Ping) refers to a specialist in Workforce Identity and Access Management who uses Ping Identity tools (like PingFederate, PingOne) to set up secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated identity systems.
• Their job is to ensure employees can securely access systems across organizations using standards like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Architect and maintain integrations with PingFederate, Entra ID, and Azure Identity tools.
• Design, implement, and manage secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
• Provide expert-level guidance on identity federation, SSO, and token-based authentication.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless identity flows across systems.
• Troubleshoot complex identity issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
• Stay current with evolving standards and best practices in identity and access management.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills: IAM, Ping Federate, Azure.
• Deep, hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML – including how and why they are used in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in PingFederate – including configuration, policy management, and integration.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and related Azure identity tools.
• Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, federation, and access governance.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex identity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in large-scale, enterprise environments with realistic, production-level deployments.
• They’re looking for an experienced PingFederate engineer with strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• The role involves designing and managing secure authentication systems, handling SSO and federation, troubleshooting identity issues, and working across teams in a large enterprise environment.
