<b>Electrician:</b><br><br>
Our client, a leader in the production of building materials is looking for a licensed Electrician to join their team in Mississauga. <br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities:Â </b><ul><li>
Repair critical electrical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades.<br></li><li>
Repair or replace control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, contractors, motor starts, thermocouples etc. as needed.<br></li><li>
Responsible for making PLC program changes, installations or updates to maintain proper operations.<br></li><li>
Detecting, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in all types of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions.<br></li><li>
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including conveyors and/or cranes.<br></li><li>
Comply with the Electrical Safety Authority, all legislated and company health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs, including lockout/tagout.<br></li></ul>

<b>Required Qualifications:</b><ul><li>
Successful candidates must have related electrical maintenance experience in an Industrial environment.<br></li><li>
Candidates require certification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or as a Construction Electrician (309A) and strong background in PLC maintenance.<br></li><li>
Previous crane, conveyor, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience is a definite asset.<br></li><li>
Possesses skill in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, especially electrical drawing. <br></li><li></li></ul>
