Job Scope:
- Responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT Networking & Support function in the lounges and offices, providing Networking, end-user support, and IT systems delivery services for existing and new lounges. Supporting end-users by working closely with Helpdesk & IT Operations where appropriate for resolution to IT needs (both incidents and requests).
- Responsible for ensuring standard Networking configurations are implemented, and Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and relevant IT documentation is appropriately and accurately updated promptly.
- Responsible for executing the IT Infrastructure deployment for new and renovated outlets as per design specifications and PPG IT Standards.
- Responsible for IT support service delivery complying with PPG Global IT standards and standard operation procedures in America’s region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot technical issues with hardware, software, network, and resolve technical problems within SLA. This includes camera systems, point-of-sale devices, laptops, printers, and other normal devices.
- Set up, configure, and maintenance of PPG Americas’ networks and networking infrastructure in our outlets and offices.
- Maintains inventory and tracking of all hardware and software assets.
- Document, maintain knowledge-base-articles, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Improve support services by ensuring timely problem resolution and providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Analyze computer / IT problems reported and recommend corrective, preventative, and improvement measures.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar role with medium or large-scale organizations.
- ITIL Foundation is preferable.
- Required hands-on experience in the setup & configuration of Networks. Configuring, Firewalls, Switches, VPN, WAN/LAN, and other network peripherals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365.
- Good communication skills, including verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to provide quick solutions to problems.
- Possess an optimistic, positive, and can-do attitude.
- Be available for after-hours and weekend project work as needed.
- Must pass a criminal background check, MVR, and/or airport security clearances as needed.
- Spanish language is an plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s outlets.
- Travel up to 30% if needed for projects.
