As a Branch Inside Sales Support representative you will help customers “ACT” – acknowledge, create partnerships, and thank them.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>In this client‑facing role you become a product‑knowledge expert, supporting customers through the following:</p><h3>Customer Service</h3><ul><li>Greet customers in‑person or on the phone.</li><li>Answer inquiries about materials and services.</li><li>Make it easy for customers to do business with us.</li></ul><h3>Order Processing</h3><ul><li>Enter and process customer orders.</li><li>Provide accurate product, availability, and delivery information.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation related to customers and orders.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bilingual in French and English.</li><li>Completed high‑school certificate required; post‑secondary education an asset.</li><li>Experience in the building industry (hardware store, pro‑desk) desired, but training provided.</li><li>Proficient in reading, writing, and number sequences.</li><li>Computer proficient.</li><li>High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.</li><li>Emotional intelligence for respectful, courteous interactions.</li><li>Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and perform in a fast‑paced environment.</li></ul><h3>About Gentek</h3><p>Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl/aluminum siding, windows, and other exterior home‑improvement products with three manufacturing facilities and distribution branches coast to coast.
