We are looking for an experienced Installation Technician to join our growing team.</p><p>Sign On Bonus up to $7500!!</p><p><strong>Installation Technician Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Understand the project&#39;s scope of work sufficiently to plan, manage, and execute associated work.</li><li>Recognize necessary or desired scope changes</li><li>Lead and direct people, equipment and resources in the construction of the project scope of work, (if applicable) </li><li>Ensure sufficient deployment and productivity of work.</li><li>Engage in open communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers and report any issues which could affect the project plan.</li><li>Work as a team member to carry out project scope of work.</li><li>Proper use of project equipment and tools is required.</li><li>Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction materials, manpower and equipment.</li><li>Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner.</li><li>Review and adhere to construction schedules on a daily, weekly monthly basis, and on a per project basis, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met.</li><li>Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively.</li><li>Read and interpret project plans and specifications.</li><li>Operate equipment as needed</li><li>Assist project leadership in acquiring all project required municipal, state or federal approvals, including all departmental sign off’s up to and including the final building inspections and Certificates (if applicable). </li><li>Blueprint reading</li><li>Knowledge of construction processes</li><li>Knowledge of construction equipment</li><li>Interpersonal skills</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Thoroughness</li><li>Communication skills</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Intermediate computer skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and on-call </li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration Technician </li><li>2- 3 years of supermarket experience (preferred not mandatory)</li><li>Knowledge in Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC</li><li>Safety Certifications (preferred)</li></ul><ul><li>Fall Protection</li><li>Aerial Work Platform</li><li>First Aid</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>Competitive Wages Local 516 </p><p>Rates: Union total package $74.93 (additional for GAS & ELE tickets)</p><p><strong>Sign on Bonus </strong></p><ul><li><strong>$7,500 CAD one-time bonus</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>UA516 <span >Health/Dental/Vision</span> Benefits</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-Time </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p></p></p>
