Job Title: Learning Experience Designer
Duration: 5 Months contract
Location: Toronto, Ontario,M5X1J9 (Hybrid)
OVERVIEW

As a Learning Experience Designer, your knowledge and creativity will allow you to create engaging learning experiences that will set our organization’s standard for future learning and development. Fast-paced, creative, and detail-oriented are all words used by others to describe you. Your understanding of adult learning and your comfort in using digital training resources will help bridge the gap between our talent and business objectives.
YOUR JOB
- Transform predominantly instructor-led training programs into fun and engaging sustainable blended learning solutions.
- Promote learning through self-study and practice by creating high-quality instructional resources such as e-learning, micro-videos, job aids and scripts.
- Successfully transfer program knowledge while showing measurable results.
- Keep up to date on L&D best practices and use emerging technologies to develop innovative learning solutions.
- Partner with team member sand subject matter experts to ensure content is relevant and accurate.
YOUR TEAM
Our Learning & Development team is a small and agile group that strives to provide high quality results within short timelines. We are focused on delivering new employee onboarding, technology and platform training, as well as personal and professional development programs.
MUST HAVES
- Certificate in Adult Learning or Instructional Design, and/or 5+ years of practical experience creating technology-based learning resources.
- Ability to quickly learn new complex concepts and turn them into high-quality learning resources.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently under tight timelines.
- Expert with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams).
- Experience creating training videos with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred).
- Strong visual design skillset – we like fun training that looks good too!
NICE TO HAVES
- Bilingual English/French preferred.
- Experience in financial services/wealth management an asset.
- Experience creating new employee onboarding training curriculums.
- Experience uploading content to a Learning Management System (LMS).
