<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 / Hour<br /><p>The Opportunity</p><p>Were hiring an Inventory Manager to own the accuracy, availability, and flow of inventory across our store and yard. Youll report to the General Manager and run a consistent rhythm of replenishment, receiving controls, cycle counts, and inventory reporting.</p><p><br /></p><p>What Youll Be Accountable For</p><ul><li>Replenishment + min/max management to protect in-stock performance while managing overstock risk.</li><li>Receiving accuracy and same-day system posting (PO match, discrepancies, damages, labelling, put-away discipline).</li><li>A structured cycle count program, variance investigation, root cause, and corrective actions.</li><li>Governance for inventory adjustments, documentation, and audit readiness in partnership with <span >Finance/Accounting.</span></li><li>Shrink/damage trend tracking and practical loss prevention controls.</li><li>Seasonal readiness planning <span >(spring/fall/winter)</span> and protection of A items.</li><li>Monthly review and actioning of slow-<span >moving/aged/obsolete</span> inventory to improve turns and reduce deadstock.</li><li>Item setup, locations/bins, lead times, and vendor links.</li><li>Weekly/monthly KPI reporting (stockouts, accuracy trends, shrink, aged inventory, top movers, exceptions) with recommendations.</li><li>Cross-functional coordination with Sales, Operations, Yard/Store leadership, and Finance to resolve inventory issues fast.</li><li>Support substitutions, special order visibility, and rapid resolution of inventory issues impacting customer experience.</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>3+ years inventory management in <span >retail/wholesale/yard</span> operations <span >(landscape/building</span> materials preferred).</li><li>2+ years running cycle counts, investigating variances, and improving inventory accuracy.</li><li>Experience overseeing receiving, put-away/location discipline, and transaction controls.</li><li>Comfort with ERP/POS and tools like Excel/Sheets and Evergreen (or similar is a strong asset.</li><li>High School Diploma required;</li><li>Supply <span >Chain/Business/Operations</span> <span >diploma/certificate</span> is an asset.</li><li>Valid Driver License</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Please note, this is a new position that is active for candidacy.</p></p></p>
