Summary:
Seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in Java (Spring), AWS, API architecture, and React/TypeScript, to lead Agile delivery teams in a financial services environment.
Key Qualifications:
- 12+ years in software development, 6+ years in data systems design and delivery
- Leadership experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience in finance, banking, or fintech is an asset
- Strong expertise in:
- Java (JDK 17+/Spring Boot), API standards (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, gRPC)
- AWS (EKS, API Gateway, VPC, WAF, etc.)
- React, TypeScript
- Database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Security protocols: OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, mTLS
- Microservices architecture, cloud-native systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery, design governance, and architecture standards
- Set roadmaps for technology solutions in line with product and business objectives
- Oversee system architecture, API integration, and security standards
- Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and manage technical risks
- Collaborate with architecture, business, and DevOps teams
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and system observability
