<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Recognized as the 2019 and 2022 Canadian Automotive Dealers Association (CADA) Laureate Award Winner for Business Innovation and one of Canada’s Best Employers for Recent Graduates for 2024, <strong>Destination Kingsway Honda is</strong> looking for a <strong>Journeyman Automotive Service Technician</strong> who is looking to take the next step within their career!</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What we can provide you:</strong></p><ul><li>Above market compensation plans</li><li>Full group health benefits program: extended dental & health, vision care, massage therapy, boot and tool allowance, etc.</li><li>Comprehensive training and professional development program.</li><li>An environment that is friendly, respectful, collaborative and ultimately supports your success.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve clients efficiently to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.</li><li>Perform duties as outlined on repair orders and discuss status with service advisors.</li><li>Diagnose and report existing conditions, and additional repairs (safety or service) to the appropriate parties.</li><li>Document and record all findings accurately and to standards and communicate with Service Advisor.</li><li>Road test vehicle(s) as required to identify concerns and ensure quality control.</li><li>Remain updated on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, bulletins and recalls, and technical knowledge.</li><li>Strong computer skills (including MS Office suite); experience with CDK and X-Time is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What we need from you:</strong></p><ul><li>Fully licensed (Red Seal) automotive technician.</li><li>Can analyze and interpret the needs of our customers concerns and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions.</li><li>Can operate independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality is best-in-class!</li><li>Have an above average technical aptitude.</li><li>Previous dealership experience is an asset, relatable to the Honda brand if possible</li></ul><ul><li>Well developed communication skills - can effectively work and interact with other members of the dealership.</li><li>The ability to follow policies and procedures as mandated by manufacture guidelines.</li><li>Valid BC driver&#39;s License with a clean driving abstract.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Ready to seize the challenge?
