The Position

80% Recruitment and Onboarding (focus on Sales)


  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, with a strong emphasis on Sales hiring, including managing high volumes of calls and emails.
  • Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline by nurturing relationships with inbound applicants and proactively reaching out to potential candidates through cold calling and emailing.
  • Create and manage job postings for open positions
  • Navigate social media and job boards, to creatively map out pools of talent and promote employment opportunities within our company
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new recruitment opportunities and building on existing relationships
  • Creating strong relationships with our internal managers, to understand their current and future hiring needs
  • Conduct comprehensive phone screenings and participate in in-person interviews as needed to assess candidate fit.
  • Manage and issue employment offers to candidates ensuring all details are accurate
  • Deliver timely feedback to all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support the development and administration of orientation and onboarding for each new starter
  • Assist in regular check-ins with each staff to ensure they are adapting to our onboarding process and they have all the necessary tools for success

20% Office & Culture


  • Assist with the coordination, documentation, and communication of employee departures
  • Support onboarding, training, and day-to-day management of co-op students
  • Track and report on recruitment department spend and budget
  • Maintain the overall tidiness and functionality of the office space, ensuring it remains organized and well-stocked
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies, snacks, and other essentials
  • Assisting in maintaining a positive online presence by reviewing and responding to company reviews, and assisting with recruitment-focused social media tools such as Instagram
  • Leading the planning and execution of internal events and company socials (Summer Party, Holiday Party and End of Month Socials!)
  • Occasionally assist our Event Operations team with onsite event execution which involves traveling to events, set up, tear down and execution


Qualifications

  • 1+ years of recruitment, sales, and/or fast-paced customer service
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a focus on metrics and performance outcomes
  • Track record of process improvements
  • High level of initiative and ownership
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA up to 3x per year

Working hours: Normal business hours are 8.30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, with a lunch break for one hour between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
