<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Junior SEO and AI SEO Associate</strong></p><p> <strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>StorageVault Canada is looking for a Junior SEO and AI SEO Associate to support organic growth across our portfolio of storage brands.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone early in their SEO career who already has hands-on experience and wants to grow their skills in a real, in-house environment. You will help plan, write, and optimize content, support ongoing SEO initiatives, and learn how organic strategy is executed at scale across multiple brands.</p><p>You will be involved in content creation, on-page optimization, keyword research, and performance analysis, with opportunities to build technical and strategic SEO skills over time. While this is a junior role, you will be trusted with real work and encouraged to take ownership as you grow.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>SEO and Organic Growth</strong><p>●     Support and execute SEO strategies focused on increasing organic traffic</p><p>●     Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis</p><p>●     Optimize existing pages based on search intent, performance data, and SERP features</p><p>●     Monitor rankings, traffic, and visibility using industry-standard SEO tools<br /><strong>AI Search Visibility and AI SEO</strong></p><p>●     Support efforts to improve brand and content visibility in AI-powered search tools such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and similar platforms<br><br></p><p>●     Help structure and optimize content so it is easily understood, cited, and surfaced by AI systems</p><p>●     Assist with content formatting, entity clarity, internal linking, and topical coverage to support AI discovery</p><p>●     Monitor changes in AI-driven search experiences and help adapt content strategies accordingly<br /><strong>Content Strategy and Writing</strong></p><p>●     Plan, write, and optimize SEO-driven content with real user intent in mind</p><p>●     Refresh and expand existing content to improve usefulness, clarity, and topical authority</p><p>●     Support internal linking strategies and content clustering efforts</p><p>●     Ensure content aligns with both traditional search results and AI-powered summaries<br /><strong>Technical and Platform Support</strong></p><p>●     Identify technical SEO issues using tools such as Screaming Frog</p><p>●     Assist with site audits, crawl analysis, and indexing issues</p><p>●     Work within a headless CMS environment, including Strapi</p><p>●     Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to implement SEO improvements<br /></p><strong>Reporting, Analysis, and Learning</strong><p>●     Use Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console to identify issues and opportunities</p><p>●     Track performance trends across traditional search and emerging AI surfaces<br />Help test, learn, and refine SEO and AI SEO strategies over time</p><strong>Required Experience and Skills</strong><strong>Required</strong><p>●     Prior hands-on experience working in SEO (agency, in-house, or freelance)</p><p>●     Solid understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page SEO</p><p>●     Working knowledge of Semrush and or Ahrefs</p><p>●     Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console</p><p>●     Ability to plan, write, and optimize SEO-driven content independently</p><p>●     Strong written communication skills</p><p>●     Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Strapi</p><p>●     Basic understanding of HTML and CSS</p><p>●     Comfortable using Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, and Teams for documentation, reporting, and collaboration<br /></p><strong>Nice to Have</strong><p>●     Technical SEO experience, including Screaming Frog</p><p>●     Experience with schema markup</p><p>●     Familiarity with AI search visibility and AI-powered search experiences</p><p>●     Experience working on large or multi-location websites</p><ul><li>Please note that applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.</li><li>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected to proceed in the interview process will be contacted.</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Remote (within the GTA Region) </strong></li></ul></p></p>
