<p><em>Cloverdale Paint is the largest family owned and operated paint company in North America. With over 70 Company stores and 120 Authorized Dealers across Canada, Cloverdale Paint has had a special relationship with its customers ever since the company was founded in 1933.</em></p><p>We are now recruiting for a permanent, full-time Labeller at our Oakville facility.</p><p>We are looking for someone to work full-time hours weekly. This role requires the successful candidate to work 10-hour shifts (4) times a week and availability to work afternoon/evening shifts.</p><p>Previous experience with paints/coatings manufacturing is a strong asset.</p><p>Cloverdale offers a very competitive compensation package and strives to be the Place to Be not only for customers but employees as well.</p><p>WHAT WE OFFER</p><ul><li>Company paid benefits – Medical, Dental and Vision</li><li>Annual cost of living salary increases</li><li>Profit-sharing Program</li><li>Family Assistance Program</li><li>Staff Discounts</li><li>Comprehensive training</li><li>A supportive and growth-oriented management team</li><li>A great work environment with collaborative and caring colleagues</li></ul><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Follow label instructions as per the batch ticket.</li><li>Work in accordance with established safety and housekeeping standards, and report and unsafe conditions.</li><li>Prepare labels and/or stickers for paint production.</li><li>Label cans manually or using an automated system.</li><li>Work in accordance with established safety and housekeeping standards.</li><li>When no labelling is required, the Labeler may perform the duties of General help and other duties dependent on operation requirements.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Completion of high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to read and understand batch tickets</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong communication skills, and competence in math and numeric comprehension</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lb regularly</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills</li><li>Excellent customer service skills and strong problem solving skills</li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Available for shift work and overtime</li><li>Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude</li></ul><p><em>Our employees enjoy excellent work environments, respectful workplaces with credible leadership and receive fair remuneration and annual profit sharing.
