Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent receives different types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate locations.</p><p><strong>What you’re responsible for:   </strong></p><ul><li>Welcome clients courteously while following our procedures and requirements.</li><li>Assist with unloading materials.</li><li>Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals.</li><li>Inspect clients’ metals.</li><li>Identify the correct type of metal for each product and verify its quality.</li><li>Weigh and track materials accurately.</li><li>Enter data into the RECY system.</li><li>Operate various types of machinery (e.g., forklift).</li><li>Prepare receiving/shipping tickets.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><p><strong>To join our team:</strong></p><ul><li>You have between one (1) and three (3) years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset).</li><li>You have experience operating a forklift (major asset; on-site training provided).</li><li>You are in good physical condition;</li><li>You are bilingual (asset).</li><li>You demonstrate professional and safe behavior.</li><li> You are responsible and resourceful;</li><li>You work well in a team.</li><li>You have excellent priority management skills.</li><li>You provide outstanding customer service.</li></ul><br><br></p></p>
