Role Description
This is a full-time remote (candidate dependent) or hybrid role for an Intermediate Layout Design Engineer based in Mississauga, ON. You will be responsible for the PCB layout of our mid and high speed products from 10Gbps to 112Gbps. Our boards range in complexity from top of the line FPGA solutions to innovated bridge and riser boards that enable our system products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the rest of the hardware development team and mechanical team to complete challenging designs.
Qualifications
- Cadence Allegro experience is required
- Heavy experience with constraints entry, differential pair routing, and DRC checking
- Decent understanding of power supply layout, high speed layout, memory layout
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the FPGA and networking industries is a plus, but not required
