<p>What The Law - Criminal Law Firm is a boutique criminal law firm located in Aurora, ON, serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area. This is a perfect opportunity for an entry-level job for those just entering into the field and looking to gain legal experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Role Description</p><p>-Draft retainers and manage new files that come into the firm (emails, disclosure requests, calendar entry, file creation and organization)</p><p>-Enter payments received and process credit card payments and organize monthly payment plans</p><p>-Initiate collection efforts to secure payments from existing clients</p><p>-Proactively provide reminders to existing clients for overdue invoices</p><p>-Assist lawyers and paralegals with administrative duties</p><p>-Work closely with firm manager and assist with email management, scheduling, calendar organization, mail merge and miscellaneous office duties and tasks</p><p>-Disclosure uploading and organization</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><p>-Experience in a legal setting is an asset</p><p>- Experience in a criminal law firm is an asset</p><p>-Graduate of a law clerk, paralegal and/or relevant legal program is not mandatory but an asset</p><p>-Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p><p>-Most have strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail to numbers</p>Create Your Resume First
