<p>Overview:</p><p>$ $47 / hour<br>Candidates must have Millwright Licence (433A) or Heavy Equipment Mechanic (421A) Licence.<br>Rates vary based on certifications and experience. This is a year-round, full-time career opportunity with benefits in the Canada's Wonderland Ride Maintenance Department.</p><p>CANDIDATE PROFILE:<br>The ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with a solid track record working as a Millwright/mechanic.</p><p>SCOPE OF POSITION:<br>The successful candidates will have proven skills with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics and will have the ability to problem solve and work independently.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Install new equipment</li><li>Rebuild and or repair equipment as specified</li><li>Maintain all required service records and logs</li><li>Make recommendations for improvements, modification, upgrades and report to Foreman/Supervisor on a timely basis</li><li>Assist with major overhauls, modifications and alterations as required</li><li>Ensure the safe operation of each work area and each work project.</li><li>Assist with general cleaning, inspection and reassemble equipment as needed</li><li>Responsible for assisting with daily preventative maintenance program</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience in mechanical trades</li><li>Post Secondary education in a mechanical trade profession</li><li>Valid Ontario driver's license</li><li>Past experience in a diverse industrial environment required</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and oral</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>Exposure to welding and machining equipment an asset</li><li>Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required</li><li>Proven abilities to problem solve, trouble shoot and work with deadlines</li><li>Ownership of tools and safety boots a must</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions</li><li>Required to meet the physical demands of the job including; weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling and ability to work with ladders</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
