<p>Shift: Days; Evenings; Nights; Weekends (as needed)</p>
<p>Annual base hours: 2015; Daily hours: 7.75</p>
<p>Salary: $33.23 – $42.69 per hour</p>
<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applies the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in Acute, Transitional, Personal Care Home, Primary Care, Public Health‑Healthy Living, and Home Care settings. The LPN works to full scope of practice, engages in ongoing education, and maintains competency per Southern Health‑Santé Sud policies, College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics, Competency Profile, and the Regulated Health Professions Act.</p>
<p>The incumbent exercises initiative and independent judgment to determine work priorities, methods, and actions on unusual matters. The position aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Southern Health‑Santé Sud.</p>
<h3>Certification / Licensure</h3>
<ul>
<li>Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).</li>
<li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Public Health‑Healthy Living, Home Care).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications and Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.</li>
<li>Ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills (oral and written).</li>
<li>Analytical and problem‑solving approach.</li>
<li>Autonomous decision‑making and leadership ability.</li>
