This role requires strong mainframe engineering skills, specifically with RACF version 2.5 or 3.1. Experience with ACF2 version 16 is a secondary benefit. Additional beneficial skills include other mainframe technical support and in-depth knowledge of IT Security Standards within TD or industry best practices (e.g., NIST, STIGs).
We seek a leader who can manage legacy engineering practices while transitioning towards a more modern, automated, and simplified approach to mainframe security.
Key Accountabilities
Customer
- Provide consultation and advice on Technology Controls, Information Security programs, policies, standards, and incident management within your specialized area.
- Conduct project consultations on risk assessment, control requirements, vulnerability assessments, and related areas.
- Lead or contribute to risk and control design assessments for application portfolios, documenting impacts, risk mitigation, and remediation strategies.
- Contribute to defining, developing, and overseeing a global security management strategy and framework.
- Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and respond to technology and security threats.
- Develop ongoing Technology Risk reports, monitor trends, and define metrics to measure control effectiveness.
- Work proactively with technology partners and stakeholders to integrate security components into the enterprise architecture and address control gaps.
- Consult on regulatory compliance, reporting, and questions.
- Support audit preparations, management responses, and remediation activities.
- Participate in security incident responses and represent the security function to the business.
