If you have a strong mechanical mindset and enjoy making things work, fixing problems, and taking care of people&#39;s homesthis is a great opportunity to bring your experience and grow with a company that values professionalism and pride in workmanship.</p><p>---</p><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p><strong>Stable full-time role</strong> with consistent hours and a predictable on-call rotation</p><p><strong>Diverse, hands-on work</strong>no two days are the same</p><p><strong>Positive team culture</strong> with experienced administrators and operations support</p><p><strong>Work independently</strong> and be recognized for your initiative and attention to detail</p><p><strong>Make a real difference</strong> in residents&#39; lives by keeping their homes safe, clean, and comfortable<br /></p><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Do</strong></p><p>You&#39;ll be the go-to person for a wide variety of maintenance workboth inside and outside the building:</p><p> Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in suites and common areas (plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical, etc.)</p><p> Carry out regular building inspections and preventative maintenance</p><p> Complete unit turnover tasks (paint, repair, clean) so homes are move-in ready</p><p> Respond promptly to tenant requests with a service-first attitude</p><p> Support seasonal needs like snow shoveling or light landscaping</p><p> Maintain clear records and daily logs using basic digital tools</p><p> Participate in the on-call rotation (every second week, after-hours)<br /></p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p><strong>35 years&#39; </strong>experience in a maintenance or building operations role</p><p> Comfortable with basic plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and light electrical</p><p> Ability to work safely and follow OH&S best practices</p><p> Solid organizational skills and ability to manage your own schedule</p><p> A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic</p><p> Strong communication skills and a commitment to courteous, professional service</p><p> Computer literacy and ability to complete digital work logs<br /></p><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p><p> This is a <strong>live-out</strong> position</p><p> Valid Ontario <strong>Class G Driver&#39;s License</strong> with acceptable driving record</p><p> Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons</p><p> Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs</p><p> Clear <strong>Criminal Background Check</strong> required</p><p> Must be available for rotational on-call duty every second week (5:00pm8:00am)<br /></p><p><strong><em>Ready to be part of a team that values hands-on expertise and customer care?
