Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our high standards of efficiency, productivity, quality, and guest experience are met.</p><p><br /></p><p>Position Responsibilities</p><p>Front of House:</p><ul><li>Coordinate daily operations for both Front of House and Back of House.</li><li>Execute outstanding food and guest service.</li><li>Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.</li><li>Organize and supervise shifts.</li><li>Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity.</li><li>Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.</li><li>Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste.</li><li>Conduct pre-shift briefings.</li><li>Innovate strategies to boost sales.</li><li>Motivate and inspire leadership at the team level to drive sales.</li><li>Demonstrate an Anything is Possible mindset: dream big and play big.</li><li>Emulate behavior that drives sales by engaging with guests and assisting where needed; no job is too small.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>People:</p><ul><li>Ensure all team members understand and maintain operating standards.</li><li>Motivate team members towards delivering next-level guest service.</li><li>Address guest concerns and seek positive resolutions.</li><li>Assist in training new hires and encourage ongoing development for existing staff.</li><li>Ensure brand service standards and proper dress code are consistently maintained.</li><li>Foster a positive team culture with a "can do" attitude.</li><li>Promote a passionate and competitive sales-driven environment.</li><li>Demonstrate, promote, and lead by living into our Vision, Mission & Values.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Place:</p><ul><li>Maintain a professional atmosphere that ensures top employee and guest safety standards.</li><li>Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations.</li><li>Ensure a safe workplace in compliance with WorkSafe BC.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Profit:</p><ul><li>Limit promotional and Q.S.A. bills.</li><li>Identify and implement new ways to increase profit.</li><li>Improve systems and efficiency.</li><li>Control waste, spillage, and portion sizes.</li><li>Achieve labor budgets for each shift.</li><li>Perform bar checks, including non-alcoholic beverages, limes, and juices; manage 86&#39;d products.</li><li>Ensure accurate, realistic sales forecasts are achieved every shift.</li></ul><p></p><p>Skills & Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Education: Post-secondary degree in business management or hospitality is ideal.</li><li>Experience: 2-3 years of prior experience in restaurant management.</li><li>Ability to work varied hours.</li><li>Knowledge of driving sales and meeting financial goals.</li><li>Results-driven with a demonstrated record of prior success.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and employees.</li><li>Strong conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Adaptable, flexible, and high energy, with a tolerance for stressful situations.</li><li>Understanding of basic accounting principles and budgets.</li><li>Proven ability to coach and manage people effectively.</li><li>Driven towards personal development.</li><li>Computer Skills:Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS systems</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Please apply directly via the link provided: <span >https://wentworthrestaurants.bamboohr.com/careers/414</span></p></p></p>
