Overview:

Flying Camel is seeking a seasoned digital and social media strategist to lead our agency’s social and digital marketing efforts across our client portfolios. This is a mid-to-senior-level role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in digital content, paid media, analytics, and emerging platforms. You’ll not only oversee execution but also shape how our clients show up online, crafting integrated campaigns that connect brand stories to measurable results.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Lead social and digital strategy across key accounts, defining how content, platforms, and performance marketing intersect to meet client business goals.
  • Act as internal champion for social media intelligence tools (e.g., BrandWatch), including training team members and transforming platform data into strategic insights.
  • Own social platform strategy for both organic and paid content, setting KPIs, forecasting performance, and reporting outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Execute paid social advertising campaigns, including media planning, creative guidance, optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues across social media platforms, identifying and resolving technical glitches, publishing errors, or platform-specific challenges to ensure consistent and effective content delivery.
  • Serve as a key collaborator within the Creative Team to align campaign direction with brand voice and visual identity.
  • Stay ahead of cultural and platform trends to proactively shape campaign recommendations and pivot strategy as needed.
  • Build frameworks and templates for reporting, dashboards, and strategic roadmaps turning data into compelling, actionable stories.
  • Provide strategic guidance on influencer activations, user-generated content, and platform-specific formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients on digital performance and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • 5-7 years of digital and social media experience, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting cross-channel strategies that incorporate organic content, paid media, influencers, and performance measurement.
  • Proven expertise with tools such as BrandWatch, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Fluent in social media management tools (e.g., HeyOrca, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and content creation platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and how social integrates into broader digital ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, especially as they relate to social and content performance.
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, you know how to present data in a way that builds trust and drives action.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, you are able to lead cross-functional teams with clarity, confidence, and humour.
  • Experience in or strong interest in the interior design, architecture, or construction industries is a strong asset.

  • Knowledge of programmatic, YouTube, TikTok Ads, or Pinterest Ads platforms.
  • Thought leadership or personal brand presence in the marketing/digital strategy space.
