<p><h3>Job details</h3><p>Robertson Electric is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our branch in Vaughan, ON.</p><h3>Major Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintains distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures.</li><li>Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in shipping, receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.</li><li>Measure and provide feedback on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees' performance.</li><li>Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.</li><li>Maintain accuracy in inventory and outgoing shipments.</li><li>Determine staffing levels and assign workload.</li><li>Provide assistance as needed to internal customers to answer questions or solve problems.</li><li>Communicate job expectations and coach employees.</li><li>Ensure new and current employees are trained properly on all equipment.</li><li>Maintain all records for the warehouse including: training, maintenance, pre-starts.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring equipment is in good working order, locking/tagging out when needed, calling for service, etc.</li><li>Perform daily meetings to discuss priorities, safety (hazard) issues and encourage staff feedback.</li><li>Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.</li><li>Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.</li><li>Ensure warehouse is set up in an efficient manner to ensure optimal workflow and maintain inventory locations.</li><li>Report incidents and health and safety issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Skills and Qualifications</h3><ul><li>2-5 years of experience working in a warehouse.</li><li>1 year of wire & cable product knowledge is required.</li><li>Ability to map out a warehouse.</li><li>Strong knowledge of warehouse operations.</li><li>Responsible and extremely reliable.</li><li>Completion of High School.</li><li>Proven warehouse supervisory experience.</li><li>Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.</li><li>Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.</li><li>Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>A few reasons why it’s great to work for us: Robertson Electric Wholesale is an established and fast-growing company.</li></ul><h3>Benefits and terms</h3><ul><li>Comprehensive medical and dental benefits.</li><li>RRSP matching plan.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development.</li><li>Pay: From $60,000 per year.</li><li>Job type: Full-time, Permanent.</li><li>Location: Vaughan, ON.</li></ul><h3>Other</h3><p>Please be informed that the position is conditional upon successful completion of a mandatory criminal background check.</p><p>Important notice: This job posting has been provided by a partner site.
