<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>On behalf of our smart grid technology client, we are searching for a Manufacturing Test Engineer! Are you a passionate and analytical Engineer with a background in electronics? Do you have strong experience collaborating with product development teams to ensure testability and reliability? Read on if so!</p><p></p><p>This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with onsite work from Monday to Friday.</p><p></p><p><strong>Compensation</strong><strong> includes</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Base salary $65K - $100K based on experience</li><li>Health spending account and comprehensive health benefits</li><li>3 weeks paid vacation</li><li>Ability to participate in stock options program</li><li>$1000 training budget </li><li>Paid parental leave</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement manufacturing test strategies, systems, specifications, and software.</li><li>Manage engineering changes by collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure thorough implementation and documentation.</li><li>Partner with electronics manufacturing service providers and contract manufacturers to address technical challenges related to company products.</li><li>Provide remote support for product testing issues within the manufacturing process.</li><li>Assess alternative vendors for manufacturing services based on quality standards and commercial feasibility.</li><li>Facilitate and coordinate manufacturing quality audits, evaluating the quality of materials and finished products, including incoming and outgoing audits as required.</li><li>Offer leadership and guidance to junior engineers, technologists, technicians, operations staff, and co-op/interns within the manufacturing team.</li><li>Travel once or twice per year to contract manufacturer locations and other company product development sites as needed.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or B.A.Sc. in <span >Electrical/Electronic</span> Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>5+ years of experience with electronics manufacturing or similar</li><li>In-depth experience with manufacturing test strategies and implementations</li><li>Eligible to register with EGBC as an EIT, if not already registered</li><li>Experience with writing software in C, C++, C#, LabView, TestStand or Python</li><li>Strong ability to interpret hardware designs, including reading electronic schematics and interpreting Bill of Materials</li><li>Experience with Linux installation and configuration, networking and security implementations</li><li>Experience with both board level and system/box level manufacturing and test methodologies, change control processes, and data analysis for monitoring production yields/failures (statistical process control)</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Motivated self-starter that can adapt and multi-task</li><li>Must have a high level of cultural awareness to work effectively with overseas stakeholder groups</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>To apply directly, email your resume to Kirsten Green at dwathen@fuzehr.com</p><p></p><p>Dominique Wathen</p><p>Recruitment Consultant</p><p><br /></p><p></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
