<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>About the Role</p><p>Aequilibrium (AEQ) is seeking a <strong>senior, hands-on Marketing Lead, Digital & Events</strong> to work <strong>directly with the founder and executive team</strong> to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and commercial impact across our consulting and innovation offerings.</p><p>This role is designed for an experienced marketer who has <strong>operated </strong><strong>closely with executive leadership in Canadian tech companies or technology professional services firms</strong>, understands how founders and exec teams think, and is comfortable owning end-to-end outcomes.</p><p>This is a <strong>senior individual contributor position</strong> with significant autonomy, visibility, and accountability. You will set direction where needed, but you will also execute — writing content, coordinating events, building campaigns, and making things happen.</p><hr />What You Will DoExecutive Partnership & Marketing Ownership<ul><li><p>Act as a <strong>trusted marketing partner to the Founder/CEO and executive team</strong></p></li><li><p>Help shape marketing priorities based on business strategy and leadership objectives</p></li><li><p>Translate executive thinking into clear, focused, and actionable marketing initiatives</p></li><li><p>Own delivery and outcomes for agreed marketing initiatives</p></li></ul>Digital Marketing & Thought Leadership (Hands-On)<ul><li><p>Own and execute AEQ’s digital presence, including LinkedIn and other relevant social platforms, blog content, and thought leadership, campaigns tied to key business moments and announcements</p></li><li><p>Personally contribute to content creation, writing and editing posts, blogs, and announcements, producing or coordinating simple visuals and assets</p></li><li><p>Ensure a confident, consistent, and senior brand voice across channels</p></li></ul>Conferences & Events (End-to-End Ownership)<ul><li><p>Lead AEQ’s participation in <strong>local, national, and international conferences</strong></p></li><li><p>Own the full event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, positioning, and promotion, on-site presence and execution, post-event follow-up, content, and reporting</p></li><li><p>Work closely with business development and leadership to ensure events drive real business value</p></li></ul>Sales & Executive Enablement<ul><li><p>Support sales and partnerships with high-quality marketing collateral (decks, one-pagers, case studies), client and prospect research, and coordination support for proposals and RFPs</p></li><li><p>Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with pipeline development and revenue priorities</p></li></ul>Marketing Operations & Delivery<ul><li><p>Build and maintain an integrated <strong>marketing calendar</strong></p></li><li><p>Maintain and update AEQ’s website (WordPress), including landing pages, blogs, and banners</p></li><li><p>Manage marketing tools and systems (e.g., HubSpot), keeping data clean and useful</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with designers, writers, and external partners when needed — while retaining ownership of outcomes</p></li></ul>Measurement & Continuous Improvement<ul><li><p>Track and report on the performance of campaigns, content, and events</p></li><li><p>Use data and judgment to refine messaging, channels, and execution</p></li><li><p>Provide clear updates and recommendations to leadership</p></li></ul><hr />Who You Are<p>You are a <strong>confident, pragmatic, and execution-oriented marketer</strong> who is comfortable operating at the executive level without needing a large team or heavy structure.</p><p>You bring:</p><ul><li><p>Proven experience working <strong>directly with founders, CEOs, or executive teams</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize what actually matters</p></li><li><p>Comfort with ambiguity, fast decisions, and shifting services firms</p></li><li><p>Startups or digital agencies</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in:</p><ul><li><p>Digital marketing and B2B content creation</p></li><li><p>Conferences, events, and experiential marketing</p></li><li><p>Supporting executive teams and revenue-focused initiatives</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Strong understanding of professional services marketing and sales cycles</p></li><li><p>HubSpot experience or certification</p></li><li><p>WordPress or CMS experience</p></li><li><p>Basic design, presentation, or video editing skills</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with ABM, analytics, and SEO</p></li><li><p>Interest in digital transformation, innovation, XR, or AI</p></li></ul><hr />Location & Travel<ul><li><p><strong>Remote-first role</strong>, with the expectation of being <strong>based in the Greater Vancouver area</strong></p></li><li><p>Ability to attend:</p><ul><li><p>Local team and business events in Vancouver</p></li><li><p>Conferences and events in Canada, the United States, and Europe</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Willingness to travel internationally as required</p></li></ul><hr />Compensation & Growth<ul><li>Competitive compensation, commensurate
