Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.</p> <p><b><u>What You’ll Get To Do: </u></b></p><ul><li>Assign and coordinate work orders in accordance with the designated planning flow process</li><li>Assess work priority, develop work scopes, and coordinate maintenance tasks</li><li>Maintain and improve equipment reliability through effective maintenance and equipment upgrades</li><li>Gather accurate estimates of repair time, crew size, and costs of repair</li><li>Investigate equipment failures and trouble-shoot problems, and respond to emergency situations to ensure continuity of operations on a 24/7 basis</li></ul> <p><b><u>Who we are looking for: </u></b></p><ul><li>Mechanical trade ticket or Mechanical Technician /Technologist diploma</li><li>Solid understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations</li><li>Supervisory experience in a unionized environment preferred</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Basic computer skills</li></ul> <p><b><u>Work Environment:</u></b></p><ul><li>Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels</li></ul> <p><b><u>What we have to offer:</u></b></p><ul><li>Competitive base salary</li><li>Highly competitive benefits programs</li><li>Pension retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions</li><li>Our pre-employment process includes: reference checks, a medical screening, a criminal record check and a drivers abstract check.</li></ul>
