As our organization continues to grow, we’re searching for an <em>experienced Medical Receptionist</em> to act as the ambassador to our patients and bring a genuine, welcoming presence to our facility and our team.<br><br>Imagine being the welcoming and reassuring face patients rely on during their healthcare journey while you handle the following responsibilities.<br><br><b>What You'll Do:</b><br /> <ul><li>Provide courteous and professional reception services to all patients and visitors</li><li>Schedule and confirm patient appointments</li><li>Managing patients' annual physical and Maintaining administrative databases </li><li>Mail important materials to patients as needed</li><li>Prepare and process invoices and receipts</li><li>Answer and direct phone calls with empathy and efficiency</li><li>Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required</li><li>Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered service at every interaction</li><li>Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff</li><li>Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling multiple tasks</li><li>Set priorities and calmly diffuse challenging situations with patients and/or colleagues</li><li>Use your organizational skills and knowledge of medical terminology to keep workflow smooth</li><li>Accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality</li></ul><b>Why work for MD Direct</b><ul><li>Parking Pass <em>or </em>Monthly TTC transit pass</li><li>Health Benefits</li><li>Engaging team work environment</li><li>Year end Bonus</li><li>Team Outings</li><li><em>Monday - Friday work week (No weekends) </em></li><li>STAT Holidays </li><li>Paid vacation</li></ul><br /><b>What You'll Bring:</b><br /> <ul><li>3–5 years’ experience in a medical office and or administrative role + relevant formal training</li><li>Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and Word </li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy environment</li><li>Demonstrated experience with multi-line phone systems</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR applications preferred</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to outstanding patient service</li><li>CPR certification preferred</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul><br />We thank all applicants for their interest.
